I was disappointed with my recent service experience because I did not leave feeling confident, valued, or fully informed as a customer. My vehicle was towed to the dealership on Friday evening, June 5, 2026. I attempted to call, but was unable to reach anyone. When I came in person the following morning, I learned the dealership had a new phone system and incoming calls were not reaching the service department. I appreciated being informed of that, but it was concerning because I could have continued calling without realizing my vehicle had arrived or that no one was receiving my messages. Chris advised that my vehicle would be inspected on Monday. By noon Monday, I had not received an update, so I called and left a voicemail. I received a return call after 4:30 p.m. and was told the battery had a dead cell and that further diagnostics could not be completed without replacing or charging the battery. I explained that the battery had just been purchased from AutoZone on May 31 for approximately $350 and was a top-of-the-line new battery. I was disappointed that the dealership did not first attempt to charge the battery or use a shop battery to continue the diagnostic process before recommending that I purchase a new dealer battery. I also explained that the cooling fan had been running continuously and that another mechanic had suggested the issue may have been a stuck relay, which is a relatively simple and lower-cost repair. I chose to bring the vehicle to the dealership because I wanted the repair completed by the brand experts and backed by a warranty. However, the process made me feel as though the focus was more on selling parts than carefully investigating the most practical and customer-friendly solution. After replacing the battery through AutoZone and returning it to the dealership Tuesday morning, I was later told the entire cooling fan assembly needed to be replaced at a cost of approximately $1,018. The repair was completed that day, and I picked up my vehicle Tuesday evening, June 9. As I began to leave, I noticed the passenger-side air bag light was on. I returned to the service center immediately, and Chris stated that something may not have been pushed back in properly, but no mechanics were available at that time. I was advised to call the next morning to possibly arrange a loaner while the issue was corrected. I called on June 10 around 8:00 a.m. and left a message. As of June 11, I still have not received a return call. Overall, I left this experience feeling disappointed and uneasy. A vehicle is not only a major expense, but also something we rely on daily for safety, work, family, and basic convenience. When customers choose to remain loyal to a vehicle brand and have repairs completed at the dealership, we are trusting that the work will be thorough, transparent, and completed with pride. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling insignificant as a customer. I also left questioning whether the full cooling assembly replacement was truly necessary and whether there may have been a simpler, less expensive repair that was not fully explored. I would have appreciated clearer communication, a more thorough diagnostic process before recommending costly repairs, and prompt follow-up when a safety-related warning light appeared after the repair. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit intended. My goal is not to be harsh, but to express that this experience did not meet the level of service, care, or trust I expected from the dealership.

I called on a Friday and they got me in on Tuesday afternoon my appointment was for 2 PM I got there at 2:05 PM my car was finished at 2:35 PM. Very professional and fast service.

Our experience at Joseph Buick GMC was outstanding in every way. Upon entering the sales floor, Chris Inderhees, sales professional/Product Specialist, greeted my wife and me. From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, informative, and genuine. Chris provided options that we had not considered in our search. We had been researching and test-driving several makes and models over many months. After narrowing down our search of everything from a Ford Ranger Raptor, to a Ram 1500, to a Chevy Silverado, to a Toyota Tacoma, we determined that the GMC Canyon AT4 was the perfect size, power, agility, and styling for our needs. Having searched the inventories of dealerships across the tristate area and beyond, we thought we had found our perfect GMC Canyon at a dealership in Dayton. We intended to visit Joseph Buick GMC on Colerain only to test drive a vehicle that was similar to the model we found on-line. Our plan was to then head to Dayton to purchase the vehicle if we were pleased with the test drive. We found a very similar model at Joseph Buick GMC and loved it. Chris, along with fellow Salesperson Dennis Bettis and Manager Patrick Valpreda absolutely saved us a trip without even knowing it. They were all so helpful and friendly every step of the way. We even left the dealership, took a day to consider everything, and came back to purchase the truck the next day. There were no high-pressure tactics or games played along the way. After finalizing our purchase and taking our new truck home, we were so happy with our experience and wanted so much to protect our investment for many years to come, that we went back again to maximize and extend our truck's protection with a ten-year, bumper to bumper warranty for an incredible price. Kudos to Patrick for his zero-pressure explanation of the warranty options. The warranty speaks for itself and was an absolute no-brainer. We can now enjoy our new truck with no worries at all with a fully transferable warranty for ten years which adds great value if we need to sell the vehicle before the warranty's expiration. Finally, even though we live on the other side of Cincinnati and pass by many dealerships, including other GMC dealerships along the way, Joseph Buick GMC has won our trust, and it will be a pleasure to schedule future service appointments with them. My wife and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this year and we have purchased many, many vehicles over the years for our family. I can honestly say that our recent purchase experience at Joseph Buick GMC on Colerain Avenue in Cincinnati is our very favorite experience to date. Joseph Buick GMC really is "Professional Grade!"
