2021 GMC HUMMER EV: COMING SOON

November 3rd, 2020 by

We won’t lie, the GMC Hummer did not always have the best reputation in terms of environmental friendliness. However, all that is changing with the “world’s first supertruck,” our 2021 GMC Hummer EV. Just unveiled in October, we are certain this vehicle is going to make major waves in the automotive industry this year.
The Electric Engine
Think of the performance of an exotic sports car, as well as the off-road capabilities of a truck, combined with ultra efficiency. What else could you ask for?
“This is all about people who just love the best in automotive innovation, performance, capability and technology,” GMC Vice President Duncan Aldred told CNBC.
This vehicle will go from zero to 60 miles per hour in only three seconds. It will have a charging speed up to 100 miles of range in ten minutes.
The Sport Utility
This military-inspired vehicle or SUT (sport utility truck) will be the first vehicle with GM’s new electric vehicle platform and batteries, but it will be catered to all driving environments with a range of more than 350 miles. Best-in-class 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb.-ft. of torque plus four-wheel-drive performance will work for towing and off-road activities. There will even be an open-air layout where you can remove the roof.
It will also include a next-generation driver-assist system that allows for hands-free driving on highways.
While GM works toward our triple zero goal (zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion), this SUT will play a major role. As your Cincinnati GMC dealers, we’d be happy to field additional questions about this model as we eagerly await its release. In the meantime, check out our lease offers and many available Buick and GMC vehicles in Fairfield.
