Joseph Buick GMC Welcomes the 2022 GMC Terrain

The 2022 GMC Terrain is more than the latest iteration of a popular SUV. It arrives at Joseph Buick GMC with a new look, and a new trim that will be particularly popular with those who have a taste for adventure.

2022 GMC Terrain New Features

As you’d expect from a mid-generation redesign, the 2022 GMC Terrain receives some stylistic nips and tucks inside and out that make an already-attractive new GMC models even more handsome.

The bigger news is the addition of the GMC Terrain AT4. This trim, with its skid plate, Traction Select System, and standard all-wheel drive, helps you enjoy the drive no matter where it (or your wanderlust) may take you.

2022 GMC Terrain Performance and Capability

The GMC Terrain powertrain holds steady. It consists of a turbocharged 170 horsepower inline four-cylinder engine powering your choice of FWD or AWD through a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission.

Paired with a tow package, it’s robust enough to deliver 1,500 pounds of towing, an ideal match for the 29.6 to 63.3 cubic feet of cargo space and accompanying in-floor storage.

2022 GMC Terrain Safety Features

If you’re safety-minded, you’ll be pleased by the five-star NTHSA safety rating earned by the new GMC Terrain. You should also know, however, that GMC Pro Safety™ comes standard. Teen Driver Technology, a seatbelt interlock, automatic high beams, pedestrian detection with automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning with lane keep assist all work to ensure you arrive safe and sound.

The optional Pro Safety Plus package adds parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control, unless you choose the Denali trim, where they’re already standard.
