GMC Acadia

GMC Canyon

The base engine offers 19 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. The turbodiesel takes that to 20/30 MPG city/highway.

GMC Sierra 1500

The GMC Sierra 1500 comes with a 310-horsepower turbocharged 2.7-liter, four-cylinder engine. There are three other engines to pick from:

• 5.3-liter V8: 355 horsepower
• 6.2-liter V8: 420 horsepower
• 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder: 277 horsepower

The base model offers 16 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway. These best MPG comes from the diesel engine with rear-wheel drive: 23 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.
