At our Buick service center, one of our most common maintenance requests is the good old oil change. This should be done every few months or every couple thousand miles. While we’re in there, we can check all of the fluids and make sure the coolant and others are full and clean. And of course we’ll sneak a peek at those filters to see if they need swapped out. Another easy thing to check is the depth of your tire tread and if they’re properly inflated according to manufacturer guidelines.

Car Service to Have Multiple Times per Year

You should have your tires rotated and your alignment checked every so often in order to get the most out of your tire lifespan. If things aren’t wearing evenly, you’ll have to buy new tires sooner rather than later. When it comes to your vehicle’s transmission, both manual and automatic transmission types should be maintained for optimum efficiency. This includes checking on the transfer case, which shifts power from the transmission to the axles.

Car Service to Have as Needed

A good cleaning and waxing can go a long way toward keeping your paint free of chips and rust. Some other parts like windshield wipers, battery, shocks and struts will let it be made known when they’re having problems. When the tread on your tires is no longer doing its job to give you traction, then it’s time to pick out a new set.
