THE IMPORTANCE OF STICKING TO A SERVICE SCHEDULE
During these unprecedented times where it feels like we are driving less and less due to travel restrictions, you may put car care on the back burner. However, even if you’re not racking up mileage, it’s important to get those routine services and keep your vehicle fine-tuned during these colder temperatures.
Don’t delay your much-needed Buick service.
The Ideal Service Schedule
We’d love to see our customers in the service center at least every three to four months. Regular oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations are the most vital routine services. Then alignment checks, brake inspections, and other occasional services can be done more like twice per year or as needed. There are also a number of things that should be done at the 50,000 and 100,000 mile ranges.
Every time you bring your vehicle for those basic services, we can get a look under the hood and diagnose any other existing problems. It could be something as simple as a filter replacement or there may be a larger repair that you’ll be needing down the road.
Consequences of Neglecting Vehicle Service
Putting off service for months and months, especially when we’ve got extreme high or low temperatures is not good for your vehicle overall. This can cause low fluids, buildup, low tire pressure, battery issues, and more. The less efficient your vehicle, the more you’re putting yourself and others at risk
Think of car service like preventative care with your doctors. If we can catch a problem early or before it’s really a problem, your likelihood of a better outcome is increased. So come see us soon if it’s been a while.
And if you’re in the market for new tires for sale or another part or accessory, we can help with that as well at Joseph Buick GMC.
